Failure characteristics and control of mining roadway in deep inclined coal seams of Tangshan Mine

In view of the lack of accurate basis for the existing bolt and cable support parameters in Tangshan Mine and the hidden danger of safety in the roadway of the working face, a systematic study was carried out through borehole peeping, numerical simulation and field test. The following results were obtained : The damage of the surrounding rock of the roadway was mainly concentrated in the shallow part. With the increase of depth, the local performance was fracture development and hole wall roughness, which had obvious regional characteristics. The stress distribution of the surrounding rock of the roadway was asymmetric. The principal stress ratio and the stress deflection angle were different on both sides of the roadway, which affected the failure mode of the surrounding rock of the roadway. The roof and right side of the roadway were greatly affected by mining, and the left side and floor were less affected. The distribution and failure depth of the plastic zone of the surrounding rock were obtained. According to the research results, the optimized support parameters were proposed, and the field industrial test was carried out. Through the monitoring of surface displacement and deep base point displacement, it was verified that the support effect of the optimized section was good.
