In response to the challenges posed by severe roof separation and substantial surface displacement deformation encountered in the excavation of large section open-off cut roadway, No.72513 open-off cut at Renlou Mine was taken as the research subject, and the research on surrounding rock control technology of large section open-off cut roadway was carried out. The numerical simulation of different support schemes was carried out by using FlAC3D software. By analyzing the distribution law of prestress field of different support schemes, the combined support mode of bolt mesh cable was finally determined, and the support parameters were optimized, and the field construction was carried out. With on-site monitoring of roadway deformation, the results showed that the support scheme effectively suppressed the deformation of surrounding rock and achieved a good support effect.
