Abstract： In view of the technical problems of roadway excavation and support in 5110 island working face of Sijiazhuang Mine, the theoretical analysis and support design optimization were used to study and analyze the roadway excavation and support technology of island working face. The practice shows that the optimized support scheme has a good application effect, and the deformation of roadway surrounding rock and the large support pressure have been significantly improved, which provides experience for the tunneling support of the mining roadway in the island working face under similar conditions.
