The typical working face (No. 21215 Face with both goaf sides) of No. 2 Coal Seam in Dongpang Mine was selected as the testing site, the stress concentration area, peak point location and stress concentration coefficient of coal body in the front of No. 2 Coal Seam in Dongpang Mine were analyzed and determined by means of field borehole stress measurement, the stress concentration area of No. 2 Coal Seam in Dongpang Mine was 56 ~ 60 m, the stress peak value was 7 ~ 11 m away from the coal wall, and the stress concentration coefficient was 1.2 ~ 1.9, the advance support distance of the working face should not be less than 20 m.
