In order to grasp the operation of the existing ventilation system of Huasheng Coal Industry and determine the means of optimization of the system, reliable ventilation parameters were obtained and analyzed by using the barometer method to determine the ventilation resistance of the roadways. The results showed that the resistance of the inlet section was 91.3 Pa, the resistance of the used section was 179.8 Pa and the resistance of the return section was 199.3 Pa. It can be seen that the resistance of the inlet section, the used section and the return section accounting for 19.41%, 38.22% and 42.37% of the total resistance, the total wind resistance of the mine was 0.042 48 Ns2/m8, the isocratic hole was 5.782 1 m2, with the ease of ventilation. The total inlet air volume of the mine was 6,090 m3/min, the total effective air volume of the mine was 5,417 m3/min, the effective air volume rate inside the mine was 85.8% and the leakage rate outside the mine was 1.7%, all of which were in accordance with the regulations, and recommendations on the safety management of ventilation were made.
