In order to solve the problem of high ventilation resistance of mine ventilation system in west side of No. 9 coal seam of Gushuyuan Mine and the gas emission in ventilating roadways and the insufficiency of air volume for production, the necessity of mine ventilation reconstruction based on the actual situation of mine ventilation and the mine late production layout were analyzed. And according to the situation of mine, two available schemes were put forward, the best scheme was settled through a comparative analysis.
