Aiming at the problems of the front support pressure when the 3311 fully mechanized caving face in Chengzhuang Mine passing through the empty roadway, with possible problems of rib-spalling and roof falling in the empty roadway. The properties of high-water materials were analyzed and studied, and a scientific and reasonable empty roadway filling process and pre-reinforcement measures were put forward. Practice showed that high-water material filling can maintain the stability of empty roadway surrounding rock and ensure safe and efficient mining of working face.
