In order to solve the problem of high gas content in the 1415 working face, according to the specific geological and gas occurrence conditions of the working face, the Comprehensive gas control measures of coal seam drilling + high drilling + adjacent drilling + high drainage + buried drainage was settled, various gas drainage parameters were designed for specific geological conditions, the extraction data was monitored and analyzed during the gas extraction process. The results showed that the comprehensive gas drainage rate of the 1415 fully mechanized mining face was 61.4%, and the gas concentration of the working face was effectively controlled below 0.4%, which ensured the safe recovery of the working face.
