In order to effectively control the gas in the goaf of the 10610 working face of Malan Mine, the gas in the goaf was mined by means of large-diameter drilling, and the reasonable drilling distance was 30 m by numerical simulation analysis. The specific conditions of the working face were specifically designed for the parameters of the large-diameter drilling borehole, and the drainage effect analysis was carried out. The results showed that the large diameter extraction drilling effectively controlled the gas content of the upper corner and ensured the safe mining recovery of the working face.
