Jingtanggang port is a major part of entry of Australian coking coal in China. The status and characteristics of imported coking coal in Jingtang Port were discussed, the quality status of the imported coal was analyzed, the deep-seated reasons of imported coking coal imports change were explored, the problems existing in the structure of coal industry in China were further discussed, and specific measures were put forward .
