In view of the deep extension trend of North China coalfield mining in China, large mining depth mines were faced with the current situation of high confined Ordovician limestone strong aquifer in coal measure basement. In this paper, taking Jiulong Mine in Hanxing Mining Area of Hebei Province and Tangjiahui Coal Mine in Zhungeer Mining Area of Inner Mongolia as examples, the microseismic monitoring technology was applied to the monitoring of floor failure and water conducting channel development, and the feasibility of floor failure monitoring by microseismic was studied. By combing and analyzing the floor failure test data from theory, empirical formula, field measurement and microseism, it was showed that microseismic monitoring of mine floor failure was scientific and effective, which could monitor the floor failure of stope in real time, and provide technical support for the same type of mine water prevention and control in North China type coalfield.
