Roof pre-splitting blasting is a common method for the prevention and control of rock burst in hard roof stope. The design of blasting pressure relief parameters is very important for the effect of on-site pressure relief. No. 5316 isolated working face of Baodian Mine was taken as the background, the influence of drilling angle, depth and other parameters on the improvement effect of roadway surrounding rock stress environment was explored by numerical simulation and field monitoring method, and the best pressure relief parameters were obtained. The results showed that good pressure relief effect could be obtained when the drilling angle was 70 °, the hole depth was 24 m, the aperture was 75 mm and the charge length was 12 m. The data of borehole peep and microseismic monitoring results verified the effectiveness of roof pre-splitting blasting pressure relief and ensured the normal mining of working face.
