Study on mid infrared spectroscopy of polytetrafluoroethylene structure in electrical materials

Polytetrafluoroethylene is an important electrical material. The structure of polytetrafluoroethylene was explored. Transmission mid infrared (MIR) spectroscopic experiments (including one-dimensional transmission MIR spectroscopy, derivative transmission MIR spectroscopy, and deconvolution transmission MIR spectroscopy) were conducted on polytetrafluoroethylene structures. The results showed that the infrared absorption modes of polytetrafluoroethylene structure mainly include: CF2 functional group asymmetric stretching vibration mode (ν■), CF2 functional group symmetric stretching vibration mode (ν■), and CF2 functional group bending vibration mode (δCF2-polytetrafluoroethylene). The resolution of the deconvolution transmission MIR spectrum of polytetrafluoroethylene structure is superior to the corresponding one-dimensional transmission MIR spectrum and derivative transmission MIR spectrum. MIR spectroscopy can quickly conduct research on the structure of polytetrafluoroethylene.
