Heat dissipation analysis of shearer cooler can accurately predict and evaluate the heat dissipation performance of shearer cooler, improve heat dissipation efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and improve the overall performance of shearer. Heat dissipation simulation analysis technology can also shorten the design cycle, reduce costs, and improve safety and reliability. In this paper, the plate cooler of MGTY500 / 1180-WD electric traction shearer commonly used in Changchun Xing Coal Industry is taken as the research object. Considering the actual working state of the cooler, the simulation analysis of the heat dissipation characteristics of the cooler is carried out. The structure and working principle of the plate cooler are introduced. The three-dimensional model and finite element analysis model of the cooler are established, and the heat dissipation characteristics of the cooler are simulated and analyzed. The relevant results provide technical guidance for Changchun Xing Coal Industry to master the heat dissipation performance of the shearer cooler and find out the problems existing in the work of the shearer cooling system, which can help the mine to maintain and optimize the shearer cooler and improve its performance and service life.
