In order to effectively solve the problem of spontaneous combustion of residual coal in the goaf of super-long working face, this paper discusses the possibility of solving the spontaneous combustion of floating coal in the goaf of 20105 working face of Zhongji Coal Mine by using the technology of segmented barrier spontaneous combustion prevention and control. The grouting body is formed in the goaf parallel to the working face by grouting method, and the sand bags are accumulated near the grouting body on the inlet and return air sides, and the isolation wall is formed in the goaf through the grouting body and the sand bags. The results show that the oxidation zone range of the transport side is 68.49 ~ 198.31 m, and the return air side is 52.56 ~ 175.21 m before the segmented barrier spontaneous combustion prevention and control technology is not adopted. After adopting the segmented barrier spontaneous combustion prevention and control technology, the width of the oxidation zone on the transport side is reduced to 41.5% of that before the segmented barrier, and the return air side is reduced to 43.8% of that before the segmented barrier. The segmented spacing is 45 m, which can greatly reduce the width of the oxidation zone in the goaf and effectively inhibit the spontaneous combustion of floating coal in the goaf.
