Influence of long pumping and short pressure ventilation pumping pressure ratio on dust distribution in fully mechanized excavation face

Abstract: In order to grasp the dust distribution law of the fully mechanized excavation face and the influence of different pumping pressure ratios on the dust distribution of the fully mechanized excavation face, the FLUENT numerical simulation software was used to simulate the airflow field of the underground excavation roadway. The airflow field of the fully mechanized excavation face under different pumping pressure ratios was obtained, and its influence on the dust distribution of the fully mechanized excavation face was analyzed. The results show that increasing the pumping pressure ratio can reduce the vortex in front of the pressure air duct, which is beneficial to improve the environment of the fully mechanized excavation face.
