Abstract： In view of the long coal transportation route of the first belt conveyor in the north wing of Huayang No.1 Mine and the potential safety hazards of the belt conveyor, a set of fire warning and automatic fire extinguishing system for the belt conveyor was designed. According to the specific situation of the belt conveyor, targeted treatment was carried out in different areas. This paper introduces the main components of fire warning and automatic fire extinguishing system, analyzes and studies the concrete realization form, and designs the field construction. The practice shows that the fire early warning and automatic fire extinguishing system of the first belt conveyor in the north wing can effectively monitor the temperature of each mechanism of the belt conveyor, and can quickly locate the fire and automatically extinguish the fire. The application effect is good.
