Combined with the coal mine safety and production situation in henan province in recent years, according to the characteristics of accident occurrence and development trend and change rule, from 2011 to 2020 in Henan Province coal mine accidents statistics and analysis from the coal mine type, area type, accident type, etc. The results showed that the overall coal production showed a downward trend, the safety production situation was ups and downs, and the death toll of gas and roof accidents accounted for a relatively high proportion. The number of local coal mines and the number of casualties exceeded that of backbone coal mines. Based on the above research results, the problems of coal mine are analyzed, and the corresponding countermeasures are put forward.
