Abstract： In a short period of operation, a large area of leakage was found in the heat exchange tubes of the air preheater of the newly put into operation coke tail gas boiler. In order to ensure the safe and stable operation of the boiler equipment, the reasons were found through the boiler operation parameters, the heat exchange tubes of the air preheater, the composition of the flue gas, etc. The results show that: because the calorific value of the fuel of the coke tail gas boiler is lower than the design value, and the flue gas contains high corrosion, the enamel of the heat exchange tube of the air preheater is corroded in a large area, resulting in leakage.
