In order to avoid the leakage of heat exchanger caused by chloride ion stress corrosion, prolong the service life of heat exchanger and ensure the stability and continuity of chemical production, by analyzing the material, structure and production process of heat exchanger, the characteristic of corrosion leakage of heat exchanger is determined as chloride ion stress corrosion. By optimizing and adjusting the material, structure and process index of the heat exchanger, the leakage caused by chloride stress corrosion was avoided.The test results show that the economy and continuity of chemical production are significantly enhanced by eliminating chloride ion stress corrosion of heat exchanger, which can create greater benefits for enterprises
