In view of the fact that the surrounding rock properties of No.2 total return airway in No.76.2 section of Wuyang Mine were constantly changing during the excavation process, it would pass through various rock strata such as mudstone, sandy mudstone and fine-grained quartz sandstone. The numerical simulation was used to study the asymmetric deformation law of soft rock crossing roadway under complex geological conditions, and on this basis, the stability control technology of surrounding rock suitable for soft rock crossing roadway in Wuyang Mine was put forward, so as to give full play to the supporting performance of supporting structure and ensure the safe use of roadway during the service period under the premise of accelerating the excavation speed of roadway.
