Continuously applying more advanced intelligent control technology to the existing underground personnel positioning system to realize the upgrading and optimization of the positioning system is an important means and measures to effectively ensure the safety of personnel operations. Taking Gaohe Coal Mine as an example, the problems existing in the existing underground personnel positioning system in the mine were analyzed, and the design and application of accurate personnel positioning system were carried out. The practical results show that the successful application of the system effectively prevents the underground irregular operation, improves the safety management ability of the mine, and ensures the operation safety of the underground personnel. At the same time, the normal circulation rate of the fully mechanized mining team in the mine is increased by 10 %, and the normal circulation rate of the tunneling team is increased by 16.7 %, with obvious benefits.
