Abstract: Effective gas drainage in close outburst coal seam is the key to ensure the safe and efficient mining of the working face. Based on the 4206 working face of Shaqu No. 1 Coal Mine, this paper analyzes the coal and rock conditions and gas occurrence law of the 4206 working face and its lower No.5 coal seam, and designs the combined gas drainage technology scheme of the coal seam along the working face + the delayed extraction of the fracture zone + the extraction of the lower adjacent layer. Drilling holes are arranged in the 5207 track roadway, the original 4207 matching roadway, the machine-track integration roadway and the return airway of the 4206 working face, and the gas drainage and gas concentration monitoring stations are set up to monitor and analyze the extraction parameters. The results show that the field air volume meets the design requirements. During the mining period, the gas concentration of the machine track integration roadway and the return air roadway of the working face is less than 0.5 %, and the gas extraction rate is 63 % ~ 69.9 %, which achieves the expected goal of gas extraction, ensures the safe and efficient mining of the working face, and provides a reference for the gas control of close-range outburst coal seams.
