Abstract： The No.5105 face, which is the first mining face of No. 5 coal seam in Yushupo Mine, is a mining face under pressure, and there are many faults in the working face. The possibility of water outburst from Ordovician limestone in the floor during mining is large. Therefore, in order to achieve the safe mining under pressure of this face, before the mining of this face, the comprehensive geophysical exploration method was used to explore the structural development area and the water abundance anomaly area, and the floor advanced pre-grouting technology was used to strengthen the aquifuge and transform the aquifer. The practice showed that through the floor grouting control process, the face achieved safe mining under pressure, and obtained good economic benefits, which provided experience for the mine and surrounding mines under pressure.
