Abstract: In order to safely mine No.9 coal, the surface grouting control of No.9 coal above -300 m level was carried out in Yunjialing Mine. Through the construction of directional drilling hole group, the distribution and water conductivity of the structure in the control area were explored and verified. With grouting engineering plugging the corresponding water conduction channel, the structure weak zone of No. 9 coal floor was strengthened, and the confined Ordovician limestone water was plugged into the mine, so that the No. 9 coal mining was safe. In order to verify the grouting effect, the underground verification holes were constructed, the main mud leakage points, the areas with significantly increased grouting amount and the abnormal areas detected by comprehensive geophysical exploration in the process of surface regional control construction of working face were especially checked and verified to ensure the safe mining of No.9 coal.
