Abstract:Physical factors affecting the ultraviolet transmittance of ethylene glycol products include air, nitrogen and sunlight irradiation. In order to explore the influence of each physical factor on the attenuation degree of ultraviolet transmittance of ethylene glycol products, nitrogen and air were used to conduct bubble experiment, sunlight irradiation and static ethylene glycol products in air respectively. The results showed that, the uv transmittance of ethylene glycol products decays slowest in nitrogen and fastest in air bubbling. The chemical factors affecting the uv transmittance of ethylene glycol products include alkali addition in distillation system, alkali addition in distillation system, ethylene glycol hydrogenation reaction, and resin quality improvement. In order to explore the influence degree of each chemical factor on the attenuation of uv transmittance of ethylene glycol products, air bubble attenuation experiment was conducted on ethylene glycol products after four chemical treatments. The results show that the uv attenuation of ethylene glycol hydrogenation product is the slowest, and the uv attenuation of distillation system without alkali is the fastest.
