Abstract:Based on the comprehensive comparison of expanding open-off cut by roadheader and shearer, the shearer was selected to expand the side of 8703. The field application showed that the surrounding rock of the open cut was stable, the maximum roof subsidence was 44.9 mm, and the maximum side heave was 20.9 mm. It not only reduced the labor intensity of workers, improved the driving speed, but also realized the installation of the shearer and scraper conveyor, which was conducive to the production of the working face.
