The 6106 open-cut roof of Nanyangpo Mine was used as the experimental object. The 6106 open-cut roof was subjected to CO2 cracking test. After 6106 working face was opened, CO2 cracking was carried out. After 30 minutes of ventilation, the open cut was detected. The gas concentration was 0.1%, the CO2 concentration 0.5%, and other toxic and harmful gases were not detected to exceed the limit. At the same time, the hydraulic support of the working face was intact, the top plate was freely collapsed when the hydraulic support moved forward, and the mining pressure on the working surface was not obvious.
