The hydrogeological characteristics of Linnancang coalfield are mainly characterized by the strong water-bearing layer of the Quaternary alluvium overlying the coal strata and the strong water-bearing layer, limestone karst of the Ordovician system underneath, the water gushing from the mine was mainly sandstone fracture water of the coal strata, the soft rock strata were developed in the mine area, the lithological conditions had a great influence on the water filling of the mine, the water gushing points were commonly found in the tectonic parts, the water gushing pattern was concentrated with more small water gushing points, and the water gushing forms were mostly dripping and drenching. In response to these situations, water control suggestions were put forward to strengthen the basic work of hydrogeology, improve the relevance of water control work in mines, highlight the prevention and control of sudden water in tectonic parts, and strengthen the study of engineering geological conditions.
