Based on uplifting Ordovician limestone influenced by F201-2 fault in south lane of Beiyangzhuang Mine and main coal seam threatened by Ordovician limestone water, the drainage system with hydrophobic and depressurization which was suitable for this mine was put forward through technical and economic comparison according to occurrence and hydrogeological condition of this coal seam and combining with the existing project. The practice showed that Ordovician limestone water head pressure of coal seam floor was effectively reduced to reach requirements of mine safety mining. This scheme provided reference for other mines in the area.
