In order to solve roadway driving along empty goaf of weeping compound roof at 23506 working face, FLAC was applied to simulate vertical stress distribution, plastic zone distribution and surrounding rock deformation. Reasonable width of coal pillar was 6m. The control idea, on basis of ensuring the roof safety first, focusing on the control deformation of coal pillar and floor, was put forward. And the support parameter was given and put into practice successfully. The result showed that deformation for roadway driving along empty goaf of weeping compound roof was periodic. The application effect was good, which ensured driving and mining safe and made good technical and economic effect.
