Kangcheng mine 124,126 complex mining area with complex geological condition, influenced by faults, cavities, coal pillar stress concentration zone, the secondary effects of mining, it was prone to fall accident during heading, which needed actual situation rational support way, construction technology and construction organization. Through research, the implementation of surrounding rock control technology was adopted. The technology achieved safe roadway excavation construction, the liberation of large numbers of complex coal mining area, extending mine life.
