The roof and coal seam of south wing 1621 working face in Gequan Mine was seriously weathered.Crush and shearing  resistance of the whole roadway was relatively weak and the anchor net supporting was adopted. The special tectonic brought out the adverse impact on the heading work. The large cross section top coal prop construction technology achieved good results through study and it pioneered the top coal prop construction heading of No. 2 seam in Gequan Mine, which was of great significance for guiding the construction of special tectonic segment.
