The deformation and failure of the mining roadway in the 4201 working face of Chaoyang Mine was taken as the research object. Through the field survey and theoretical analysis, the deformation and failure characteristics of the mining roadway were obtained, and the large deformation and damage of the mining roadway was analyzed. The main reason, combined with the actual support of deep roadway support, the support of the compression type anchor cable box beam for the mining roadway was proposed, and combined with the actual conditions of the mining roadway, the supporting scheme of the compression type anchor cable box beam from the field application was designed. In view of the situation, the stability of the mining roadway was effectively controlled.
