There was a river crossing south of Hall shih Mine, mining area under village, railway and building took more than 70%. Comprehensive top coal mining technology was adopted, with all collapsed roof to protect coal pillar to avoid river, railway and building, eliminating rock burst and goaf gas accumulation. Filling mining improved the recovery mining rate to more than 85%, eliminating the area protected coal pillar, realizing safe and efficient mining.
