In view of the shortcomings of the traditional coal mine roadway displacement monitoring method， design of monitoring of the application of close range measurement deformation in roadway， the paper puts forward the overall plan of close range measurement， the calculation of coordinate of measuring points is emphatically carried out， finally， experiments were carried out according to the method， the results show that， the method can be used to measure the deformation displacement of roadways relatively accurately， and the actual deformation displacement error is about 1.1%， lay the foundation for further development and has the significance for further research in the future.
