Based on analysis of geological structure gas controlled features in field, NO.3 coal seam gas hosting law in Wuyang influenced by various geological factors of structure, coal seam buried depth, floor elevation, overlying bedrock thickness, roof and floor lithology and thickness was described. Different relationship of affecting seam gas distribution rules was derived from linear regression equations through combination of quantitative and qualitative analysis. According to formula comparative analysis,buried depth of coal seam was the main factor in coal seam gas content, which provided theoretical foundation to prevent gas control.
