Analysis on Comprehensive Mining Face Directional More Than 1 000 m Drilling Pre-drainage Coal Seam Gas Application Effect

Based on large gas emission of high burst mine mining working face, long pre-drainage of normal drilling and slow mining, technology of directional more than 1 000 m drilling pre-drainage roadway mining working face gas was adopted. By monitoring and contrast of gas drainage effect, the average drainage concentration of pre-drainage drilling sustained at 87% or so, single hole drainage scalar quantity achieved by 1.24 m3/min. Comparing with the normal drilling, the gas drainage quantity was 2 times larger under the same pre-drainage time, with low gas quantity and emission, the technology saved the pre-drainage time and improved the mining speed 1.5 times.
