ICS - 900 ion chromatograph and pHS-3C pH meter were used to detect and analyze the common water quality produced by the coal bed methane wells in Qinshui basin;PerkinElmer PinAAcle 900T atomic absorption spectrophotometer (AAS) was used to detect and analyze the content of metal elements in water;Statistical correlation method was used to analyze the variation of effluent quality.The results show that mineralization,the ion contents of Na+,K+, Mg2+, Ca2+, Cl-,SO■■,HCO■■,CO■■ decreased with the extension of drainage time of produced water in Qinshui basin. The mineralization is around 800~6 000 mg/L, the cation is mainly Na+ and K+,followed by Ca2+ and Mg2+, the anion is mainly Cl-,followed by HCO■■ and SO■■ , and the water type is mainly Na-Cl-HCO3. The produced water do not contain Cu, Cr, Pb in a year after discharge, individual main limit ion fulfill the requirement of National Ⅱ drinking water standards,which need dynamically monitor.
