The sorption behavior of the chelating resin containing aminomethylphosphonic acid groups (D418) was investigated. The parent rate constan is k293 K= 2.07×10-4 s-1, k313 K=3.49×10-4 s-1, k393 K= 1.42×10-3 s-1 respectively. The themodynamic parameters of sorption are △H= 96.27 kJ·mol-1,△S = 349.19 J·(mol·K) -1,△G298 K = -6.04 kJ·mol-1. The sorption behavior of D418 for In3+ obeys the Langmuir isotherm. The sorption mechanism was examined by IR spectrometry. Amino group, resin functional group, phosphate and In3+ from the coordination bood.
