Through studying water ecosystem restoration of landscape water body constructed by three kinds of submerged plants, myriophyllum spicatum, wheel verticillata and potamogeton malaianus, the results show that the submerged plants have very good effect on removal of nitrogen and phosphorus in water, and the restoration of polluted water, the removal rate of total nitrogen, total phosphorus and COD were respectively 62%, 46% and 45%. Through studying the removal effect of myriophyllum spicatum, wheel verticillata and potamogeton malaianus in different temperature and light on nitrogen, phosphorus and COD, the removal rates were respectively 75%, 50% and 25%, and the three kinds of submerged plants can still maintain good removal effect of nitrogen and phosphorus in low temperature environment, but the removal rate of COD is significantly lower, and the removal rate is only 15%.
