Mine reducer was taken as the study object, high temperature, low oil level were the main cause of reducer fault, then according to the standard for temperature and level for requirements of the range, and then according to the cause of the problem, reasonable method was designed and the sensor monitoring, sensor with reasonable methods for monitoring were installed, which could provide some guide for the future design of reducer fault monitoring method.
