In order to improve the mining rate and reduce link pressure， based on the theory of the crossing mountain mining， 2182_上 mining face of Donghuantuo Mine was crossing mountain. Retracement， return， filling， reinforcement for related roadway were done， key issues were studied， achieving remarkable economic benefit， accumulating valuable experience， providing basis for development of mountain crossing mining technology.
