Based on the features of large mining depth, obvious mining influence, complex geological condition and serious broken of roadway surrounding rock, according to the original support, the surrounding rock deformation and failure law of roadway were experimented, the analysis showed the roadway surrounding rock deformation failure mechanism. Based on control of surrounding rock deformation, the new plan strengthened the support of key part, with reasonable support and scientific construction, the whole section anchor net and cable combined support was adopted to control the deformation of the roadway, combined with the industrial experiment on site, got good application effect, the roadway deformation was reasonable.
