Aiming at the problems of old equipment and high failure rate of belt conveyor in No.2 main inclined shaft of Huayang No.1 Coal Mine, the transformation scheme of only replacing the driving part is put forward. The two driving configurations are compared and analyzed. Finally, the scheme of permanent magnet variable frequency motor + transmission drum is recommended, and the modified equipment is selected and calculated. After the transformation, the reliability of the equipment is significantly improved, which meets the demand of raw coal lifting in the mine, saves the investment of technical transformation and shortens the construction period.
