Abstract: In order to solve the problem of high concentration gas accumulation in the upper corner and return air flow during the mining of No. 8501 Face in Hulonggou Coal Mine, the source of gas generation and the main influencing factors are analyzed in detail. The method of using wind barrier to control the air distribution and drainage at the end of the return air roadway in the upper corner is put forward, and the mobile pumping station in the underground working face is installed to increase the negative pressure of extraction. The comprehensive measures such as adjusting and optimizing the sealing process of " two plugging and one injection " and optimizing the extraction parameters of high-level drilling construction can effectively control the return air flow, the end gas keeps within 0.55 %, and achieve remarkable control effect.
