Abstract: In order to study the relationship between the permeability characteristics of raw coal and coal and the stress of surrounding rock, the permeability of raw coal and briquette was measured by MZY-I coal seam permeability tester, and the permeability of raw coal and briquette under different confining pressure and different gas pressure was analyzed. The results show that : 1 Under the condition of constant confining pressure, the permeability of raw coal and briquette decreases with the increase of gas pressure due to the influence of Klinkenberg effect. 2 Under the condition of constant gas pressure, the permeability of raw coal and briquette coal samples is negatively correlated with confining pressure. 3 Under the same conditions, the permeability of briquette is greater than that of raw coal ; with the increase of gas pressure, the permeability of raw coal decreases less than that of briquette.
