In order to accurately grasp the gas occurrence law of No. 3 coal seam in Yicheng Mine, through the mine's existing production geological data, coal seam gas parameters were measured by underground measurement and laboratory test. It was concluded that the occurrence of coal seam gas gradually increased from shallow to deep, and geological structure and hydrogeology influenced the occurrence law of coal seam gas. Fully grasping the gas foundation characteristics of the coal seam provided technical support for the gas prevention and control work in the safe and efficient mining of the coal seam.
