Abstract: In order to calculate the water inflow in coal mining, it is necessary to study the permeability variation of fault fractured rock mass under different stress states. In this paper, the permeability tests of fractured rock mass with different particle size gradations under different confining pressures are carried out. The results show that with the increase of shear displacement under the same confining pressure and the same gradation, the change of permeability is mainly divided into three stages, namely the upper and lower fluctuation stage, the growth stage and the stable stage. Under the same particle gradation, with the increase of confining pressure, the shear displacement between particles increases, and the permeability of the sample increases. Under the same confining pressure, with the increase of Table index, the permeability of the sample under the initial state is basically same, and with the increase of displacement, the permeability is smaller.
