Pneumatic conveying technology has been widely applied in pharmaceuticals industry benefited from the advantages of high transmission efficiency, no pollution and so on, especially suitable for conveying powder materials. It has been widely applied in pharmaceuticals industry. Based on design example of pharmaceutical enterprise refining workshop, pneumatic conveying with positive pressure is adopted for the solid material feeding in refining workshop. Six aspects involved in engineering design were discussed, such as process flow diagram and layout, arrangement of auxiliary equipment, installation of utility, arrangement of piping，pressure loss, pipeline selection and design. In order to provide reference for the related personnel in the application of pneumatic conveying with positive pressure in pharmaceutical enterprises.
